What is the difference between the "Basic" and the "Pro" version?
SiteStudio Basic is offered for free for each domain maintained by Register.it.
With SiteStudio Basic you'll be able to create a website with up to 5 pages, create image galleries for up to 10 images and choose from ten graphic templates. For further information about SiteStudio Basic.
With the PRO version you will be able to create websites with unlimited pages, have a lot of templates to choose from, mail form, "tell-a-friend" module, Guestbook, counter, protected area and dynamic menus. For information about SiteStudio Pro.
I'd like to use SiteStudio. What can I do?
In order to use SiteStudio you need to download the program on your pc.
Access your control panel and click on the 'H' icon for the domain you want to manage; click on the link 'Build your web site with Site Studio' and then on the link 'DOWNLOAD'.
Once you've downloaded the program, you will need to install it to use the service.
How can I upgrade to SiteStudio 6 PRO?
You can upgrade to SiteStudio 6 PRO by ordering the single Site Studio 6 PRO package (from your control panel) or by ordering it along with a hosting solution (Hosting Developer/Business Linux or Windows). For further information: (Sitestudiopro).
To purchase the single Site Studio 6 PRO package, you have to follow this procedure:
- access your control panel from Register.it homepage
- click "Order" in the "Your products" menu
- click "Order" near "Site Studio 6 PRO" to order it
Once the procedure is completed, you'll have to associate SiteStudio PRO to a domain name. We remind you that Site Studio PRO must be associated to a domain name associated to a Developer/Business Windows/Linux hosting solution.
To associate the product, follow this procedure:
- access your control panel from Register.it homepage
- click the link "Hosting&Server" found at the top of the page
- click the SiteStudio PRO link in the table
- Select the domain that you wish to associate to the product
You will obtain the license code to be typed in the software you installed on your PC as follows:
- access your control panel from Register.it homepage
- select the domain name from the dropdown menu on the right and click the H icon
- click the "Build your site with SiteStudio" link.
On this page, you will find the license key for the PRO version activation.
You can type this code directly in your installed copy of SiteStudio PRO by clicking on the ? menu and "Activate complete version".
