Can I skip from a hosting windows packet to a linux hosting packet and viceversa?
Yes. In order to switch to another hosting platform, you only need to buy the new hosting package. If the domain you wish to associate to the new hosting platform is currently associated to a multi-domain hosting package, you will need to remove the association to that service, before you will be able to buy the package on the new platform.

Yes you can skip to a superior hosting level on the same platform (same operating system) by purchasing the packet from your control panel.
In this case you will be performing a function upgrade, therefore it will not be necessary to backup your files on local and your personal access codes will still be the same ones.
How long does it take before my linux hosting packet is active?
It takes about two hours. If you purchase the domain and the space at the same time, the activation time is the one needed for the domain activation. It will take therefore 24/48 hours bacause this is the time needed for the DNS update. The same time will be needed if you are swapping from a Windows to a Linux platform.
What should I do when my contract expires?
Your contract is valid for a year starting from the service activation date. You will decide whether to renew your hosting service on its expiry date.
